16oz glass at the new Blowers and Grafton pub on Whyte Ave. Great choice, lads, in your 'local' draft purveyor.

This beer appears a clear, pale golden yellow colour, with one skinny finger of wispy and bubbly off-white head, which leaves zero in the way of lace anywhere near the glass as it quickly evaporates.

It smells of bready and grainy cereal malt, stale apple mush, some musty yeastiness, and ethereal earthy, herbal, and dead floral hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, a touch of toilet cleanser, some hard water flintiness, wet paper, and more hard to really discern earthy, musty, and estery floral hoppiness.

The carbonation is pretty laid-back in its quotidian frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and not particularly smooth, as that cardboard 'character' doesn't really resonate with my flavour-buds at this particular juncture. It finishes trending dry, in the manner of drywall.

Overall (sorry) - this actually doesn't come across as horrid as yer typical Minhas joint, but, admittedly, it has been a while for this self-abuser. I am guessing that the only reason this cultural chain chose this 'brewery' was cost concerns, for the same reason that they charge 12 bucks for a fucking regular cheese donair. Good luck, even if I don't really mean it.
