355ml can.
This beer pours a clear, diluted ginger ale colour, with two fingers of tight thin foamy white head, which bleeds away in a hemorrhagic manner, leaving a decent garbled chain link fence of lace around the glass. It smells of lime drink powder, and over-processed sweet breakfast cereal grain. The taste is dull lime flavouring, of the chemical, nervous tic inducing sort, and weak astringent, edgy grain, like licking the metal playground bars. The carbonation is not strong, but more spritzy, the body quite thin, yet still kind of clammy. It finishes fairly dry, the pseudo-lime and metallic undertones carrying the day.
A simple case of follow the leader - this is pretty much a Bud Light Lime clone, but without the quality (heh) control. Not even worth sullying a poor chicken breast as a marinade agent, and another nail in the coffin of the Minhas legacy.

I had a couple guys wanting this can for their collections, so felt compelled to try it. Not expecting too much, but trying to be objective.
It is pale yellow one, big fizzy head that shrinks as quickly as it formed. No retention or lace. Smells slightly sour, but there is definatley some lime aromas. Taste had the same sour, tart lime in it. Slightly metallic finish. No real body, very thin.
I guess it isn't too bad, it is meant to be a light and fizzy beer with lime added, and that's all. Fits right in the middle of all the other lime light beers fad.

another, yes, another lime beer on the market for this summer. i hope that next summer this fad is over and done with!
onto the review.
A. the highlight! it looks like a beer, though a pale yellow one. heaps of fizz, thin white head.
S: artificial lime, like lime kool-aid was added. not impressed.
T: the worst, a metalic-candy lime with only the faintest hint of there being beer involved. the beer that is doesn't impress and the overpowering fake lime taste made me not make it through this one without chasing it.
M: thin, like most light beers, left nothing to desire or to open another can.
D: i'm not impressed, but some friends gave it to their ladies and they downed them last weekend, they were already tanked and probably couldn't tell if it was good or bad.
conclusion: it's cheap and came with a hat on a 6 pack and the hat is a good hat. LOL.
