Received a can from a friend 12-30-22. Expiration date i think is 6-2-23. Consumed 8-17-23, oh well.

Beer poured golden with a nice white head with the original pour.

Nose is basic malts with a hint of light fruit sweetness.

Taste is a lighter malt base in which the yeast give a touch of apple. Finishes a touch sweet but enough hopping to mostly balance this out.

Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and kind of refreshing.

Overall probably one of the better Advent beers i have had.

Over 90F degrees today, so a cold beer is very refreshing ! Didn't really feel like a kolsh to me but reminded me a lot of Kona Big Wave. Hazy yellow but light body. Has some yeasty flavors to it. It is good just not really my style.

Pour was a dark yellow color with a white head. The smell was of some malt, and something sweet. The taste was one of a little sweetness and malt. Overall, a beer type I've never had before and I'm not sure what to decide about it yet.

Poured from a 12oz can.
Apparently according to theb2 previous reviews, this is decent... we'll see..

On the pour, 1 finger of white head forms on top of a hazy dark yellow body with loads of carbonation.

Aroma is of malt extract, and a slight savory off aroma in the back. Not as bad as a few of these bit it isn't perfect by any strech. Slight caramel, and some yeast aromas. Not nearly as bad as the pilsner however.

Taste is better than the aroma and almost carries some bready malt flavors. Some sweet and yeasty notes begin coming trough relatively quickly. Not quite crisp like a kolsch, and the off flavors really push this away from a beer I would truly enjoy drinking. Slight floral and earthy hops.

Feel is actually drinkable, again compared to the pilsner. Not too syrupy like a lot of these, and finishes when I want it to, almost dry even. Not amazing compared to most beers, but compared to the rest of the pack this might feel the best so far.

Overall this is almost decent but it falls short in a few off flavors, minhas style, but for a lighter style nothing glaringly bad stands out which is again, an improvement compared to a few beers in the pack.

Very slightly hazy amber color with a substantial foamy white head and some lacing.
The aroma is light sweet malt with some spicy notes.
The taste is biscuits, a hint of banana and mild spices- allspice and cloves. The finish is slightly dry with some herbal hops.
The body is light, carbonation is moderate, smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether this is a reasonably tasty brew, refreshing, would go well with a backyard cookout.

12 oz can.

Appearance. Golden body with a fine white head that has very good retention. Clarity should be higher.

This is a light bodied, mild beer as expected but it resembles a yeasty wheat ale as much as it resembles a typical kolsch. It's lightly spicy with a distinct note of banana. Odd!

Rated mainly on its own with a minor detraction for departure from style.
