Received a can from a friend 12-30-23. Best by 5-25-23; consumed 8-17-23.
Beer poured dark brown with a pretty good off white head.
Nose has a very faint hint of roast, just not much there.
Taste is a light to medium roasted malt base that gives notes of coffee. Finish lacks a sweetness but with coffee roast which is not common with the style.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and kind of smooth.
Overall this imparts a nice coffee element but is missing other characteristics.

I'm not expert but this did not feel like a schwarzbier. It was more like a porter with prominent malt roast and coffee flavors with a good amount of bitterness. And despite the low ABV, it has the usual alcohol taste as most beers from this set. Again, it is like the alcohol was added afterward, it does not seem blended in. This one is a bit of a mess.

12oz can.
On a gentle pour, 2 fingers of fine tan head forms with decent retention. The body is a dark brownish red with way too much carbonation.
Smells like the porter but watered down. Too sweet to be a German lager. Some lager funk is present alongside the damn same minhas funk. Almost malty some coffee aromas.
Taste is like if you mixed craft stout with the "cervesa" beer. Too much roast and not enough German lager crispness.
Feel is heavy for the style and not really dry at all. Quite syrupy actually.
Overall not the worst of the bunch by far but not one I'll chose to remember.

12 oz can served in a Belgian snifter.
Appearance: a near black body and a beige head. About as expected although I believe it is a shade lighter than the typical schwartzbier.
Flavor. Almost OK but flawed by a production problem or, perhaps, just a poor choice of hops.
Improved with some warming.

Dark chestnut brown with a modest off white foamy head that doesn't last.
The aroma is dark roasted malt, burnt toast, plums or raisins.
The taste is caramel, burnt toast, plums and some hints of brown sugar or molasses.
The body is light, moderate carbonation, nicely smooth and very easy to drink.
Altogether, this is a mild and fairly tasty brew, worth a try.
