Crystal clear and copper in color with a 1 1/2 finger white head that quickly recedes to a ring around the glass and film on the surface. No lacing. The second harder pour yielded a 4 finger head that had more time to dry, and so left some decent lacing.
A rich aroma of syrupy, toasty malt.
Not as sweet as I expected from the aroma. More on the tart side. Toasty with a light to moderately bitter follow through.
Moderate in body and slightly crisp. Somewhat silky and drying in the end.
I took both my beers out of the fridge at the same time, and I'm glad I did. The overall quality of the brew was significantly improved in the warmer beer. It was both sweeter, and less tart. and the aroma seemed to open up more as well.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
