Pours clear, tan in color with minimal head. Taste is toffee, toasted malt, and cherry. Medium light bodied with moderate carbonation, sweet. Makes for a nice malty treat.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a nonic style pint glass. Nice caramel colored head that had staying power. The body of the beer is dark brown. I assumed it would be a brown ale but it had more of the complexity you would find in a stout, with toffee, apricots and roasted malt moving along the tongue. The mouth feel was a bit thinner, like that of a porter - a bit fizzy. I thought the taste was unique and somewhat hard to categorize. A very good beer for a dull winter day!

Confused right from the start. Looks like a bit of a thin Old Ale but why is there roasted malt on the nose and palate. Very much a mess, very much a drain pour
