Stopped by for a beer after an early dinner tonight with my parents, who live in Key Largo part time. I had been hearing about this place for a while and wanted to give it a try. It's a tiny place tucked away in a dinky strip mall at mile marker 88.

There was a decent selection posted on the ubiquitous chalkboards. Heavy on the Funky Buddha and Cigar City and a solid selection of national crafts, including New Belgium, Founders, and Dogfish Head. My parents don't really dig microbrew so they had tall boy PBRs and I went with an Invasion Ale, which was fresh and tasty.

The service was spotty at best; it took fifteen minutes after ordering for our beers to arrive and the duck fat fries we ordered to snack on were served lukewarm. This was a Monday evening after happy hour and the place was mostly full but not packed. I think they were understaffed. I would go again for the selection but not a place to seek out otherwise.

I have been here on a few occasions over the years. They have a semi decent tap list and a few cans that are craft. The food is stupidly expensive, and you still may walk away thinking I need to go eat but the food is pretty good as well.
