a quality beer right here, way better than the other sour i have had from these guys, and a cool collaboration with goed zuur, thats where i had this nice bottle. the art is awesome, and the beer inside is way ahead of expectations, a mix of peaches and cherries, oak aged, and downright funky. its bright in the glass, deeper in color from the fruit and very lively. aroma is piquant cherry, white wine tannins and oak, sweet fleshy ripe yellow peach, and lemony bacterial sourness, quite acidic but also immediately mouthwatering. the flavor is great, not sure i have seen the cherry and peach combination in a beer like this before and its really nice, lots of both, more peach i think though, and there is some sweetness here, plenty to balance the sour thats so high in this. i like the complexity, this has a lambic-esque yeast profile, aged hops i would guess too, a cool depth and all the fruit around it. high carbonation, high acid, high quality. i was impressed with this and hope there is a volume two at some point. this was unexpected from these guys but really sensational! peach and cherry together are next level.
