First review of this beer on BA. Had this on the first trip out to Denver in the summer of 2019. I think I had this at the Comrade brewery.
Pours golden to copper. 1/2" white head. Slightly darker than your average session strength ipa. Aroma is kind of a mix, and not really indicative of the beer name. There is a little bit of Mosaic and some other hops that were probably used for bittering. Light lemongrass, peach and blueberry smells, alongside some lighter bodied wood (loral?).
Its a serviceable session ipa, there is plenty of simcoe and loral bitterness to it. The Mosaic and Strata feel lost for the most part. Too many cooks in the kitchen, too many hops here possibly for the sake of saying it had like a half dozen different hops that, I don't want to say "clashed" but they weren't necessarily complimentary here. Shit, if you wanna call it a strata session, just single hop strata, there's been some good examples of it, Strata can hang.
