This one pours a slightly hazy golden red color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like grape jam, sour cherry, citrusy funk, and a bit of wine.
This is fairly simple, but also fairly well done. The grape and cherry wrap around each other fairly evenly, with the grape actually appearing kind of sweet and jammy, rather than purely sour. I get some definite acidity from the cherries, and just a hit of sharp and just a tad citrusy funk. It's not incredibly sour, maybe a 4/10.
This is light bodied, mostly clean, and with a fairly soft mouthfeel. It's pretty drinkable.
If this beer is indicative of the quality of the rest of Westbound and Down's portfolio, I really want to try more.
