This one pours a very dark black, with a small fluffy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like a bourbon vanilla chocolate truffle, with some cookie dough, chocolate chunk cookies, bourbon, oak, and caramel turtles.

This is honestly incredible. The amount of vanilla is perfect - it's there, and it knows what it's doing, but it doesn't make the beer descend into syrupy sweetness. There's still some good barrel spice and earthy caramel and leather. So many of the WB&D stouts give off the impression of chocolate chip or chocolate chunk cookies in stout form, and this is yet another good example of that.

This is medium bodied, creamy, and with somehow no boozy taste to it, despite the very high ABV. It's gotta be one of the most drinkable beers above 15% I've ever had.

This is excellent. Westbound and Down doesn't really make a bad stout. I don't really think they have making bad beers in their DNA.
