This one pours a very dark brown color, nearly black, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like roasted malt, cookie dough, espresso, chocolate-covered Werther's, toffee, oak, leather, and vanilla.
This is just stupid good, and a fantastic blend of a bunch of great beers. The immediate impression is dark chocolate-covered Werther's. There's a fantastic oaky bourbon character, with vanilla, licorice, cookie dough, and dark roasty espresso character.
This is medium bodied, with no real booziness to it, and a fantastic drinkability.
I really love stout/barleywine blends, and this is one of the best of them.
