The most integrated barrel character we've ever accomplished in the Louie series. Oak and vanillin play seamlessly with English toffee and rich maris otter toast that lend oatmeal cookie, dark choclolate bonbons and largely hidden heat.

This one pours a golden dark brown color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like toasted creme brulee, char, burnt marshmallow, caramel, toffee, and honey.
This is really, really tasty, and surprisingly deft for the style. The barrel character is wonderful - honey, burnt marshmallow, tobacco, vanilla, oak, and all that, with the malt backbone really being reminiscent of a high quality creme brulee from a fancy restaurant.
This is medium bodied, with a lean but not thin feel to it, and basically no booziness.
This is absolutely one of the most high quality entries in the Louie canon.
