Pitch black. Small brown head. No retention for some reason.
Lovely chocolate smell, some brown bread.
Excellent flavor. Silky dark chocolate, brown bread, a hint of raisin, bitter cocoa on the finish with a hint of espresso. Roasted bitterness lingers.
Smooth mouthfeel, moderate carbonation.
An excellent oatmeal stout. I highly recommend
