I guess this is a coffee variant on their older Oodles of Oats? Which is why I added it as a separate beer. Ah well.
It looks almost pitch black, but with a small dark brown highlight at edges. A small beige head formed, as expected of an oat-heavy beer. Retention seems okay!
Smells like sweet chocolate and coffee; roasted, burnt, crisp, sweet, punchy.
Tastes like dark chocolate; rich, creamy, milky--tastes like an intense chocolate bar, with old-school roast coffee adding richness and complexity. Sweet. Dark chocolate, roasted coffee.
Medium-thick? Lol. Good body, good carbonation. Soooo good!
