24 ounce crowler into signature tulip glass, filled on 9/3/2020. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber color with a small off white head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big mango, honeydew melon, cannabis, passion fruit, grapefruit, orange, peach, pear, red apple, berries, wood, pepper, pine, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mango, honeydew melon, cannabis, passion fruit, grapefruit, orange, peach, pear, red apple, berries, wood, pepper, pine, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Light-medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. A bit crisp feeling with slight lingering resins. No warming alcohol for 5.2%. Overall this is a very nice American pale ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish; nicely soft feel. Nice showcase of Strata hops, nice level of cannabis flavors but well balanced with fruit. Light malt body. Would have preferred more carbonation, but I adjusted my review for the insight. A very enjoyable offering.
