This is one of the most confusing, disappointing, dislikable beers I've ever had. Dark, nutty color that makes no sense as an IPA. The malty, bitter, body is both hard to drink, and totally off style - nothing about this beer makes sense - it's more like an ESB, than an IPA, but it isn't a good ESB. Today was the fourth attempt at this six pack, where I cracked a can hoping I'd been wrong the other times, and I wasn't.

A - Translucent amber body with some visible carbonation. About 1.5 inches of dense, off white head. Good rent ion and lacing.
S - Sweet, caramel malt. Maybe a touch of tropical fruit. Lemon.
T - Sweet caramel malt. Lemon. Piney, pithy finish.
M - Thin body and low carbonation for the style. A little watery.
O - Not much going on. Generic, malty start and middle with an unbalanced, bitter finish. Reminds me a lot of the early versions of Boomsauce with less complexity and booze.
