Pours a fairly clear amber with thik, lacy head.
Smell is fruity with notes of pine, grapefruit, citrus peel, black tea and peach with hints of caramel and gunpowder.
Taste is fruity and slightly sweet with notes of pine, grapefrit, citrus eel, black tea, caramel, peeach and some brown bread. Solid bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, sticky and well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific west coast IPA, bitter and balanced.

Got a fresh can in Vermont brewed last month. Fruity with a classic IPA backbone. West coast style done nicely…. it’s great to have local options for this style in New England.

Picked-up a six pack of cans at Luke's in Plymouth for about twelve dollars. My second brew reviewed from these guys. Mediocre.

Nothing special but makes for smooth drinking with a grapefruity aroma and taste

It’s a very good beer. Tastes smooth in the mouth. Looks a darker side of amber. Tropical fruit taste. Mango, cantaloupe. Honey. Given to me from a large beverage distributor so it was fresh. It falls into the category of..I would buy it depending on its price point. If it’s the same as my go 2 beers which are at the higher end of spectrum I would pass. If it’s on par with the average price I would definitely buy

Cannot say enough good things about about Bent Water. This right here is a solid IPA. Won't sugar coat it, it is not anything crazy spectacular, but a good solid beer. It sports a golden/orange color, that isn't completely transparent, there is a little haze to it but not much. A snow white head, full of bubbles releases aromas of pine, earthy and herbal notes. Similar flavors are produced, but a little more of a citrus taste accompanying the piney notes. This beer has some carbonation to it, so maybe good alongside a meal. All in all, didn't knock my socks off, but nonetheless a solid IPA. The double version of this beer is fantastic however.
