Pours reddish brown with light tan head. Pleasant aroma, notes of toast and some caramel. Malt is he focus here but that doesn't mean this beer is sweet; it finishes fairly balanced, leaning towards dry with a touch of bitterness and faint hop notes. Decent mouthfeel, medium-ish body but it costs the palate and leaves an odd slickness behind. Overall a decent beer, easy drinking with enough complexity to keep me interested but not special enough for me to seek out.

Poured into pint glass from can.

Color is beautiful. Chestnut brown with a little lightening up with the light. Head was about half inch from pour. Not too foamy.

The smell was hints of malts and yeast but only hints. Nothing overpowering.

First taste gives malts followed by yeast and slight fruit with a little hops. Finishes clean with a slight nutty flavor at the end. After warming up a bit you get caramel flavors and a more earthy flavor.

This is a great beer and I wish it was more than just a limited run.

12oz can, six-pack purchased at brewery.

Tiny bubbled light tan head drops some stickage on the glass, the dark reddish brown hue shows off some clarity in the light. Nutty, earthy, spicy, toasted bread, faint caramel, browned apples, & yeast in the nose. Very smooth with a mild crispness in a semi-dry medium body. Malt forward but there is more than enough going on between the hops, dark malts, & light fruity alcohol to keep it balanced. MIld toasted biscuit, tea, tree bark, and apple skin in the middle. Nutty finish with a very light toffee flavor.

Packed with flavor, drinkable, and keep unfolding new layers with each sip. Well done!
