Barba is inspired by the German Gose ales but uses no lactobacillus to achieve its refreshing balance between salty and tart. Brewed with German wheat, grey sea salt, tangerine zest and rhubarb, fermented in a concrete tank, and cold conditioned for 2 weeks prior to packaging, Barba is a complex yet highly drinkable blonde ale.

Cloudy pale gold color. Plenty of spots for lace considering the complete lack of head from this beer.
Semisour aroma with a beef stew background.
Lemony flavor dominates the taste thick body with enough carbonation to keep it from becoming syrupy. Tart finish and aftertaste. Think extra strong shandy.
