Poured into a open mouth steel pint glass canned on 9/9/20. Pours a hazy dark yellow, with a 2 finger sticky white head, that leaves nice thin streaks of lace. 4.5

Smell tangerine, pineapple, mango, and apricot. 4.25

Taste follows tangerine, pineapple, mango, apricot, and a little grapefruit in the finish. 4.25

Mouthfeel is bigger than average, a tad sticky not dry, fairly soft gentle carbonation, and at 8% ABV extremely easy drinking. 4.25

Overall this is a really nice NEDIPA, no wow factor but when fresh like this I will pick up again. 4.25

Gifted a single can as part of a mixed six-pack from a secret snowflake at a work party. My first brew reviewed brew from these guys, but have had a couple beers by them. This was just ok, kind of a weird aftertaste. Canned-on date in 11/19.

Happy to see the "City of Syn" represent finally. (My wife was born in Lynn Massachusetts.)

Classically NEDIPA with a dense shroud of haze within a golden/honey/copper coloration. Chunky white foam top retains long with crazy good sticky lace. A constant full covering at all times is impressive.

Wet earthy style hop aroma with gentle whafting of sweet citrus and black pepper pineapple chunks. Malt is a bit heavy smelling with caramel like sweetness. Maybe even sweetly floral...

Crisp punch in the mouthfeel to start, peppery hop bite extends that feeling. It quickly changes too a much more soft, smooth and juicy...but heavy bodied texture and feels. Alcohol has a bit of a boozy effect maximized by a very sharp hop bitterness in the finish.

Sharp and boozy pineapple hop affects kick of the flavor profile. Hops: Pineapple and orange citrus, stone fruits, peppery wild herbal and earthy bitterness in the finish.
Malt: Heavy and rather sweet...wild honey and dry summer grasses, tangy and slightly grainy. Oddly enough, the big malt seems a bit too heady, perhaps even thick. But works because of the density of the hop complexity.

Complexity of Feel & Flavor is high... multiple layers keep things interesting and unique. My only beef is that the malt presence and feel is a bit too heavy and slick for my taste within this style, otherwise this is a charmer.

Gold and gray hazy hue with white foamy head. Retention is pretty minimal. Nice tropical fruit and slight grapefruit nose. Same on the palate with a little funk and little bitterness. Nice NEIPA.

Cloudy, light amber color. Very few streaks from the rim bubbles. The initial head was small and brief.

The smell reminds me of evergreens and dried green spices like sage and thyme.

The start is mellow, mostly pale malt with some alcohol warmth and a modicum of hop bitterness. Full bodied with a lower than typical carbonation. The swallow brings forward the hop. The body helps keep it balanced although the the bitterness lingers a long time.

16oz can, purchased at Thompson's Towne Liquor Mart in Winthrop, MA.

Healthy amount of foam on top and sticks around for while by leaving rings of lace on the glass. Juicy aromas of guava and passionfruit with some citrus zest as well. The beer has some body with an underlying bready maltiness. Alcohol is warming but only noticeable after a few sips in. Moderate amount of bitterness for the size of this brew. Zesty with lots of citrus and mild exotic fruit. Balanced and brewed to style. One of the better hazy DIPAs.
