Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed orange-amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather quickly, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather strong of a citrus and tropical fruit aroma with a big showing of tangerine, mango, papaya, and lychee. Along with these smells comes notes of a breadiness and some light grain, along with hints of floral and a bit of herb.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and grain malt flavor paired with a bit of biscuit and the tropical and citrus fruits that were in the nose. The tropical are heaviest of mango and papaya, while the citrus is of an orange juice and grapefruit hop flavor. There are other hops of a herbal and earthy nature upfront, both of which grow stronger on the tongue as the taste moves forward. At the same time the sweet fades a tad, drying out the taste a bit, and with a bit of hay and a touch of a vegetal flavor, one is left with a moderately malty, and somewhat more dankly hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is moderate in thickness and creaminess with a light carbonation level.
Overall – OK, but nothing more.

Good DIPA, but expected it to be juicier and with more character. The hops smell and flavors seemed muted. The 4 cans I had were 6-7 weeks old, so am guessing fresh is best!

This is quite a nice beer. Quite the juice bomb. But because it’s a double ipa, the flavors are darker and more robust. Orange, grapefruit, tropical fruits, pine, resin, herbals, earthiness. It’s all there. A great smooth finish. Really good stuff.

WOW! 16oz can poured into a 20oz tumbler. Very hazy pour that stays that way, with a thick but tight white head. The body is JUICY, JUICY, JUICY. All kinds of fruitiness and flavors. Take a swig, swish it around in your mouth 3 or 4 times, swallow and wait. All kinds of things start to POP. This brew has the ability to be juicy and chewy all at the same time and the 8% ABV is a nice bonus.

1st review on BA. 2nd of brewer, both good.
a) Cloudy apricot body, sports dense lacing head.
s) juicy, fleshy fruit salad juice, apple/pear nectar.
t) More apple/pear nectar notes, coupled with melon, strawberry, and cleans up with pine. Complex.
f) Chewy, juicy, exceptional.
o) NEIPA done right.
