This IPA was brewed in collaboration with Yakima Chief, using a select bale of Idaho 7 chosen specifically for Superflux. The grain base and water chemistry was focused on creating a soft, pillowy, and full-bodied profile, although at only 6% ABV. The hop character is extremely juicy and bursting with pineapple notes. There are underlying resinous pine notes and a backing banana sweetness from fermentation that promote the overly tropical character of the Idaho 7 and its Cryo counterpart.
