I visited Callister last weekend and was very impressed with the place. It's actually four breweries in one: Callister, Machine, Brewery Creek and Real Cask; BC licensing rules prevent co-ops so Callister leases space out to other brewers and they all serve in the same taproom. Each brewery has about 3 taps; I tried beers from Callister and Real Cask and enjoyed them all. The service is very good; it was my first stop and the server, along with the owner of Real Cask who was also there, gave me tips on all the other breweries in the area. I'm going to try to hit Callister again on my next trip to Vancouver and try offerings from the other breweries represented there.
