MELOSIA: FOEDER-AGED BRUIN 2018
Fermented with a blend of three different strains of Brett and acidifying bacteria, then aged for one year in our oak foeder. A foeder is a large wooden vessel and it’s porousness creates the perfect environment for aging wild and sour beers. This Belgian inspired brown ale is amazingly complex, blending oak with fruity esters and a hint of tartness.

Foamers Folly Brewing 'Melosia' @ 9.7% , served from a 2018 vintage 500 ml bottle
A-pour is a dark brown from the bottle to almost black in the glass with a small light tan head leaving a dissipating spotty lace ring along the tulip
S-1 year oak foeder sour brown ale , potent
T-interesting not so tart & refreshing as tart & strong , sip this beer slowly
MF-ok carbonation , feels full bodied , big ABV buzz
Ov-sip this beer & enjoy , careful of the last swallow ,
