Poured a cloudy auburn color with a thick white head. Good lacing down the glass.
The smell was fantastic! A hop bomb. As their menu suggests, you can smell the "Cascade hops [that] are overflowing in this ale." It's all cascade on the nose and a mild malt scent.
Not as much hop taste as the smell led me to believe. There is still a strong hop flavor and it's not too sweet.
The mouthfeel was watery. Little to no carbonation which I prefer. Nice hop finish lingered on my tongue.
Easy to drink and would easily have several. I'm anxious to try the imperial version of this brew.
