This was "the beer" while staying the small, northern Belgium town of Retie. It was a clear light gold and always served in mall cylindrical branded glasses. This is a classic Euro lager - clean, refreshing, and inoffensive. You can order round after round if you want a simple session lager with sweet bready flavor. This certainly isn't the type of beer Belgium is known for, but for the style, it's nothing to be ashamed of.
