I poured the bottle into my Leffe chalice, almost no head or at least fading quickly, aroma is vinegary which I am not too fond of. Otherwise taste pretty different from the regular Grimbergen.
Belgian yeast, a slight caramel taste, no I'm not exactly thrilled by this one and would choose other grimbergen products over this.
Overall, you can pass on this one. It's not even really cheap. Leffe or even better Affligem are better options in the Belgian pale ale style.

This is a bit of a mixed bag. The appearance is exactly the same colour as the empty bottle from whence it came, a coppery clear brew with a thin foamy head, which does detract from it's score. This would be so much more impressive with a giant frothy top.
Aroma is a little vinegary which is another let down, but the taste is pretty good. A real malty caramel fest, with an aftertaste which lasts forever even if the feel is little on the flimsy side.
Given I picked up a triple pack for 4 euro I think that this is another of those bargain basement beers well worth stocking the fridge with and consuming as an everyday brew......hell have it on your breakfast cereal instead of milk!
