Dark burgundy colour, verging on brown with a beige, solid head.
Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, plums, raisins and sugar. Overall, the aroma is sweet, although there are also dry wine notes.
The flavour is more distinctly plum, with the caramel receding into the background and more dryness.
High carbonation, which suits it well; the beer is quite dense but not oily.

I really like belgium beers, so maybe I am not the best person to rate them. This is pleasently warming. 6,5% alcohol is a little bit low for this style, but it doesn't change the fact that it really tastes good.

Bottle from Delhaize in Brussels
Look: Poured a dark brown amber color with a small white head.
Smell: Heavy in the malts, caramel, yeast, some red fruits and nuts.
Taste: Roasted malts, sweet caramel, nuts with some bitter, spicy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation, medium bodied.
Overall: Nice beer
