★★★½

This one pours a very dark black color, with a fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like heavily roasted coffee, smoke, bitterness, and dark chocolate.
This definitely feels to style flavor-wise, but it's also a bit thinly flavored. It's pretty smokey and bitter, and a touch acidic, with heavy roast and a bit of chocolate.
This is light bodied, a little bit creamy, but mostly just thin, with a decent level of drinkability.
This is a bit basic and thin, but still fairly enjoyable.

A very well made stout with lots of dark coffee and chocolate flavors. Opaque black with beige head. Great mouthfeel rich in flavour and quite dry. Well worth finding.

Poors a very dark liquid with a lot of creamy foam and good retention. The lacing is nice too. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolat and roasted malts, with some pepper notes too. The taste is very rich, with chocolat coming first, followed by a nice dark malts/coffee bitterness, and ends with good earthy hops flavours. A bit too carbonated to my taste. A fairly good stout.

A very nice stout, not creamy but full bodied in the style of the bottled Guinness.

473ml can poured into tulip 12/5/16 from mathieuc via CANBIF
A dark cola liquid with a large and loose brown foam that quickly falls leaving spider web lace half way down
S lots of charred wood and smoke, burnt coffee, leafy hops, almost has a earthy top soil thing going on, burnt milk chocolate milk, its a good thing I like heavily charred dark roast
T not as much burnt malt but still heavy on the charred roast, some hard to place fruit covered in the darkest chocolate possible, ashy and earthy
M thinner then expected, enough bubbles to give it some life, just a little slick and fairly dry with char lingering
O enough flavor to please in something you could session but if you don't like burnt malt just move along
Heavy on the charred, smoky, burnt notes but in something this light in ABV its almost odd, something I'd drink on a chilly evening by a campfire with ease

Pitch black with a nice small off-white head.
Smell of black chocolate mostly. There's some espresso aromas too.
Really nice chocolate flavor that is there for a while, really long finish. There's a frank bitterness and dryness from the roasted malts.
A really solid stout.
