Color is deep orange with a medium head and medium retention. Smells woody (its barrel aged), ripe grapes, floral a tad citrusy and a touch of yeast spicyness. The taste is quite yeasty, almost cheesy, with distinct wood and sweet white wine, along with and herbal bitterness that comes through pretty well with the malt roundness. Carbonation is optimal. A really good beer.
