Look: Pours a pretty translucent auburn. Low carbonation with a 3/4 finger head that disappears in 2 minutes leaving slight lacing.
Smell: Dry grass, malt (bready) and plums.
Taste: Strong caramelized sweetness,. Lots of malt and syrupy. Hints of light rye bread are the best part of the taste. Sharp bitter ending.
Feel: Dry and crisp, with no carbonation to speak of.
A style I typically love, but the sweetness is to the point of cloying on this offering, and the bready notes more soft dough then toasted. This earns a B-
