Really surprised and pleased by the subtlety of the smokiness -- it gives the beer more complexity rather than overwhelm it. That being said - there is a lot going on here before we even get to the smoke... all the carefully controlled yeasty esters compete with an ambitious grain bill and heavy carbonation. Final verdict? A bit of a mess, but also kinda awesome.

Rather disappointing. Maybe they will brew a better batch as this was their first one. Not much wheat flavour at all and a slightly bitter aftertaste. I'll give it another try later in the season though.
