'Nilla Priest is a blend of regular Smash Tun, Reverend Brown, and Barrel Aged Alto Porto. We blended it to our liking where whiskey meets smooth roasted notes. Deep roasted malts and sweetness from Smash Tun, that gets cut with the whiskey flavors of the barrel aged variants. Finally, we added a ton of fresh vanilla beans for a week until we liked the way it tied the whole beer together.

1 pint and 9 ounce undated bottle kept refrigerated since release (whenever that was in 2019). Poured into a tall tulip shows a crystal clear cola colored body, with a beautiful glowing reddish hue when backlit. A 1/4" cap of tan bubbles briefly rests stop before settling to a clear abyss.

Aromas include the eponymous with hints of stone fruit like black cherries and plums, caramel, and charred oak.

Flavors match in a well blended melange of the three barrel aged beers leaving a bourbon back.

Mouthfeel is medium and almost chewy.

Overall, well blended. There's clearly alot going on here but nothing, other than a smooth vanilla aroma and flavor, stands out.
