A heavily hopped American Double India Pale Ale. Dank and resinous with fruity notes ranging from tropical-citrus to dark stone fruit, and balanced piney bitterness. Aromas of grapefruit, pine tree and black currant.

Tallboy poured into a pint glass with a large mouth
L: A burnt orange color that is adequately hazy. Most likely unfiltered but the can doesn't say either way. Small head but phenomenal lacing.
S: Nose starts off with some alcohol immediately overtaken by pure hop dankness with dark stone and tropical fruit rounding it all out. Wish this had a bit more of a nose though.
T: Dank, dank and more dank with great hop bitterness and balanced malt that masks the 8% alcohol content very well. Some fruit flavors come into the mix throughout the sip with a solid bitter finish that does not overly linger. The dankness is awesome and reminiscent of fresh hemp.
F: Sticky resin covers the tongue but isn't overbearing. Smooth for a DIPA.
O: Very solid especially for the price -- I snagged this bad boy for $11 a 4pack of talls at my local store. Very good in its own right but given the price point this beer is a great alternative to other cheap and more mass produced DIPAs like Dogfish 90 or Victory Dirtwolf. If you like dank hop flavors give this one a try and you won't be disappointing.
