Imperial stout with flavors of roasted malts, mocha and dark chocolate with a slight hop & roast bitterness in the finish.

Draft pour at the brewery, tumbler pint.
Dark brown and opaque with a half inch of off-white foam that fades to a ring in about a minute. Nose is light, coffee, alcohol and a hint of bitter chocolate. Tasting much the same with more roast and a bit of char. Decent roast and hop bitterness at the finish. Full bodied but but more crisp than soft. The carbonation is medium-high. Not bad but the mouthfeel is more in line with a Stout (non-imperial).
