Draft pour at brewery, goblet.
Hazy pale yellow-orange topped by one finger of white fairly thick foam, good retention, leaves lace. Nose is light, orange, tangerine and bread aromas. Taste is well balanced hop-malt and a little juicy, orange, bread and flour make for a mildly sweet opening. The finish is clean and mildly bitter with equal parts orange pulp and zest. Feel is soft and medium-light with just enough carbonation for a small crisp bite at the finish. Maybe a little lack luster (brewed not to offend perhaps) but nothing to complain about. A fine APA in my opinion.
(Edit) Out of a 16 ounce can into a tumbler pint. Getting a fuller nose with more grapefruit (and something tropical) aroma and flavor. Carbonation is a tad higher as well, which adds to the crisp bite through the middle. I like it better from the can, it’s more lively and the juicy nose is wide open. Well done in my opinion.
