Poured from the can into a nonic(k) pint glass.
Hazy to unfiltered body, with a grapefruit dark juice orange color mixing with some yellow as well. Fleeting two finger head but manages and off white collar while settling.
Real nice fruity aroma, tropical fruit guava, hints of juicy cantaloupe and melon like quality. There's a hint of lime like bitterness on this as well, with a real punching brightness.
Palate continues more of the fruity hop experience. Bold hits of mango, melon, guava like tropical fruits, with a steely grapefruit rind of hitting bitterness on first sip. Finishes full, almost flirting with IPA territory but just a hint of lighter body which is quite surprising. Bold notes and more hinting hop tropical fruit goodness on the aftertaste.
Really bold pale ale, even hard to remember this clocks in at session like quality.
