Pours black or the darkest brown I've ever seen. A nice brown head of foam on top that sinks into the brew nicely. Aroma is bourbon -- not too much, not too little. Just right. Taste is lip-smacking bourbon with notes of chocolate, raisins and bourbon. Not too thick, not too thin. Nicely balanced.

Pours thick and black , with a thin, tan head that dissipates to small ring around the Stout goblet glass. Passes my 500 lumen Surefire test. with NO visible light on the opposite side. Good flavor. The barrel ageing adds a nice depth of flavor

Pours a dark brown, almost black colour. Smells like bourbon, caramel, slightly sweet, rich chocolate, vanilla, and oak. Tastes like a slightly smokey stout, sweet, big bourbon notes, caramel, and vanilla; medium-bodied, slightly syrupy, but a nice light carbonation.
