my first beer from these guys, an excellent hazy, a treat to drink with some other wisconsin hoppy stuff, a state i need to do way more beer exploring in! citra driven, wheat and oat based, pretty dense but on the dry side, soft feeling, and well enough carbonated to not seem heavy even with the multigrain base. i usually am not in love with citra as a solo mission, it always does so much better with other varietals than on its own, but they get a lot out of it here. a bit cloudy and maybe a shade duller than fully bright in the glass, but its frothy and bubbly and looks pretty appealing, pale peach toned. the nose is obviously citra, but there is some nuance, meyer lemon, lemon curd, faint dill, cantaloupe, and apricot too, yummy and juicy, but with enough grain for this to be balanced without being sweet, its a fine line because this approach to the malt bill in these can make them heavy too, and this isnt the lightest beer in the book, but they did a good job working that out. good freshness too. more melon juiciness in the flavor, hints of tangerine and lemongrass, herbal and fresh and pretty vibrant without being green, and the bitterness is next to zero, so this is quite modern. i do get a little flavor from the oats which gives it some depth, and its smooth to drink, almost creamy feeling, and overall this is clever and simple in the right ways, i think a nice expression of citra as near complete spectrum, even without bitterness. i would love to get my lips on some more from these guys!

Pours a murky hazy golden color. 3 finger yellow/white head. The head retention is pretty good, and there's some lacing on the glass.
The nose is not too strong. There's a hint of pineapple and mango going on here.
Taste - There's a nice smooth citrus flavor up front. Now I'm getting mango, On the back it turns more toward pineapple.
The body is fairly smooth, it is full bodied.
A delicious IPA.

Pours on tap dense hazy with little to no head. Wispy white.
Looks like thick orange juice with carb.
Smell is orange and a some grapefruit.
Taste follows but everything is subtle not over powering I could drink a couple of these. Mouthfeel is carbed well.

Unless there's another entry for Juice Cloud from Lion's Tail, this beer is not retired.
