Pours very dark brown, with a dark caramel colored thick head. Aroma is immediately bourbon and wood. Taste is roasted malt, charred wood and bourbon, with a slight caramel and dark fruit profile. Nicely balanced, this is so far my favorite of the Bourbon Trail series.
