Deliciously balanced coffee milk stout. I’m guessing abv between 5.5 and 6. Newer brewery to us here in the front range. West Coast Coffee used in this.
Elegant hand with its inclusions. What really perfects this brew for me is the delicate cocoa nib addition. Often too heavy, here they accent and highlight the coffee and malt, boosting those profiles while bringing subtle chocolate/vanilla back notes, instead of blasting them away.
Gentle roasty smokiness, faint candied orange deep in the middle, light body though totally opaque, a lot of restraint on milk and sweetness. Surprisingly divine biscuit, graham crackery malt supporting throughout.
This was really really nice. Drank better from can than in a glass. Hope these folks keep brewing because this was superb.
