Copenhagen 5/5 2021 47,3 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop. What looks like smudgy X-Ray photo splattered with red paint on the can.
Pours jet black with small dark beige head. Bubbly. Settles as very thin, almost transparent layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense, sweet and with bitter touch. Sweet fruit, dark bitter chocolate, cinnamon with a touch of ginger. Some liqueur-like, alcoholic presence.
Light carbonation. Thick, slightly viscous, oily, sticky texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a fairly strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light alcoholic burn. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry with a hint of Christmas spices.
Powerful boozer which is a bit more spicy compared to Amager’s version.
