L:
It's light amber-yellow and pours with a foamy head. The head doesn't last for very long, compared with some other wheat beers.
S:
- very slight wheat/grain smell
T:
- There's not much going on. I can't detect any of the common things that one can often detect in wheat beers (eg. bannanas, sweet bread, cloves, fruitiness, etc.).
F:
-fairly high carbonation. light or semi-light mouth-feel
O:
In my opinion it's not a good exemplar of a wheat beer. As mentioned, I can't detect any of the flavors that one usually associates with wheat beers. In the Philippines, Hoegaarden wheat beer is often available at the 7/11 stores, and I would take a Hoegaarden over this one - or a "New Moon," or most of the German hefiweizens that are sometimes available here.
