500ml Crowler from Brewdog Glasgow (£8.91):
Opaque black & thick with a half centimetre, foamy tan head that recedes slightly but still covers the surface. It's sweet & strong on the nose initially, chocolate malts, oats & biscuit notes come through with peanut backing with sugars & touches of lactose & tint hints of coffee. It's relatively sweet & the taste is dark too with chocolate malts but with slightly less peanut here. Overall its quite strong with a little alcohol grain & peat coming through as well. It's full bodied, sweet & smooth with a boozy, warming finish.
