Pours a nice dark color with a slight head and lacing. Aroma was lackin as was the taste. A medium bodied beer with little carbonation. A decently made beer.

Nice and malty, slightly sweet on the front. Develops darker toasted notes near the end with a mild bitterness associated with burnt flavors. Smooth, medium-full body. Not quite as "spicy" as many other Belgian-style ales. The high alcohol is very well covered, even as the beer warms up. Very palatable!
