Appearance: Nice and brown with some amber hues. The head is off white but it thins out quick.
Aroma: Lots of grapefruit in the front with notes of simple syrup and almond. Roasted malt, faint pear.
Taste: Citrus hop straight away full bodied. Grapefruit, traces of toffee with a light sticky texture.
Notes: It's quite a hoppy American Brown Ale. Thought there would be a bit more malt but nonetheless it's certainly not too bad. Cheers.

Bottled
Dark rich brown body with full on 2cm creme caramel coloured microscopic bubble head
The aroma is good, full on citra with a little fresh mint leaf, but is it a brown ale smell?
The taste has a good, harsh liquorice toffee & chocolate lead to counter them hops
it makes for a surprisingly well balanced flavour
I thought it was a bit thin for the style, flavour & strength, not watery but more so than to cover easy drinking
I really enjoyed this and it was different from a stout or black ipa to make a mark
