An incredibly smooth best bitter, Prestwood’s Best was brewed to celebrate Malt The Brewery’s first year of brewing. It’s a moreish classic bitter that’s light chestnut in colour and has hints of caramel.

From a 500ml bottle. Bottle conditioned and left sediment in the bottle.
L: Light haze. Dark copper/amber colour. The thin head reduces first to a smear and then to nothing. A single stream of micro bubbles. The lack of head and lacing is in keeping with the style.
S: Rich, smoky, earthy malt.
T: Follows the nose. Sweet & smoky. Plus autumn fruits and toasted, spiced nuts.
F: Silky. Long, dry, bitter finish (smooth rather than sharp).
O: Tastes and feels stronger than its 4.4% ABV. Rich, smooth & clean.
