An American hopped pale ale brewed in the Chiltern Hills, England. Looks good, has a glassy, gold/amber colour and mouthfeel is smooth and velvety. But nose is subdued and taste is malt-forward and under-hopped. Not much resin or pine and very little citrus. Tastes ok but more of an English pale ale with some American hops than an authentic take on an APA. This brewery specialises in English cask ales and this is it's first attempt at a different style. Work in progress.
