On tap at the brewery. An IPA brewed with kelp and 5lbs of oyster shells.
Hazy orange with a white head with good retention and lacing this looks solid. The nose is rather murky and ill-defined. Grainy sweetness, a vague suggestion of hops and a grassy character. No real salty notes present. The palate is a wreck. Sweet cooked grain, a grassy seaweed note, a mild honey note, earthy and minty notes from the Tettnanger hops. Can't really taste any salt, though there is a mineral note present. Overcarbonated and a touch boozy, this beer is rather terrible.
